Where Student Builders
Architect the Cloud.
Learn AWS by building real systems. Explore generative AI with Amazon Bedrock, architect serverless cloud infrastructure, and launch production grade projects with the student developer community at University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Deploy in minutes. Roll back in seconds. Ship with confidence at any scale.
Infrastructure that moves with your code. Review changes in isolated previews, then promote the exact tested artifact directly to AWS production.
Connect a repo and push code
Git-based deploys, zero setup
Link your GitHub or GitLab repository once and trigger automated AWS CDK synthesis and serverless container builds on every push. No complex pipelines or manual steps needed.
Import Git repository
Choose a repository to enable automatic AWS deployments on every push.
Protect and control traffic at the edge. Offload access control and rate limiting to global gateways.
Architected on Amazon Web Services serverless backbones, CloudFront edge networks, and Bedrock GenAI routing layers for unmatched durability and performance.
IAM Credentials & Token Vending
Manage API keys and STS temporary credentials end to end. Fine-grained RBAC controls who can invoke what Lambda service.
Low Latency Multi-Region Routing
Edge gateway enforces TLS termination and routes requests to the closest serverless replica with AWS Anycast.
Zero-Trust Schema Enforcement
Enforce request schemas and SQL/XSS sanitization early. Drop bad traffic before it invokes compute runtime.
Sliding Window Throttling
Set strict burst and steady-state quotas per IP, campus subnet, or API token using Redis / MemoryDB token buckets.
Zero-Instrumentation Logs
Access real-time telemetry, p95 latencies, status distributions, and egress trends directly through CloudWatch metrics.
Amazon Bedrock Gateways
Intelligent model fallback, token rate-limiting, and prompt caching across Claude 3.7 Sonnet, Amazon Titan, and Llama 3.
AWS Student Builder Groups
Connect with other students on campus. Build together on the cloud.
About the program
AWS Student Builder Groups (formerly AWS Cloud Clubs) are vibrant, student-led communities on post-secondary school campuses worldwide. Students come together to explore cloud technology, build innovative software architectures, and master industry-grade cloud skills.
Membership is open to any learner actively enrolled in a post-secondary institution aged 18+ who is ready to build their future. Every group is led by Student Builder Group Leaders who are passionate about bringing their communities to life.
With support from AWS, our USJ chapter organizes hands-on workshops, cloud certification prep cohorts, and project showcases that empower Sri Lankan undergraduates to graduate cloud-ready.
